Presenting the Next Tiger Woods

We took Daxon and Ammon to play blacklight mini golf. Here is Daxon sporting his oh-so-attractive 3-D glasses. It was lots of fun, but Daxon had more fun than the rest of us. This little stinker made 3 holes-in-one!!!

Theater Performance

Bethany got the lead role in the 8th grade UIL play "Teach Me How to Cry". She worked so hard for many weeks attending rehearsals and memorizing lines. She did such a good job at the performance. We were all so proud of her. In the end, she took Honorable Mention at the competition. (Sorry I don't have a picture of her in the play. My pictures didn't turn out.)

Dance Performance

Caleb's class performed different dances for all the parents at a PTA meeting. His group did 50's style. It was so fun to see him twisting and doing the mashed potato. (Caleb is in the very middle between the girls in poodle skirts.)

Daxon

Daxon lost his first tooth a couple of weeks ago. He was so excited! He is younger than his friends at school so he was the last to lose a tooth. He was beginning to lose hope they would ever come out.

Caleb's 10th Birthday

Caleb turned 10 years old on Feb 18. He could not decide for a long time what he wanted to do for his party but he finally decided that he would like to wait until later so that he can take a few friends to Schlitterbahn(a huge water park in Galveston). His birthday this year seemed like almost a non-event:( Rico took him to buy his first set of real golf clubs and we had a cake. Here he is with his choice of cake this year. It is what we refer to in our house as the ugly cake. You poke holes in the cake and pour melted fudge icing over it. It is not very pretty but it tastes yummy!
